Jack Connell

Jack Connell

Jack Connell works with high technology, life science, and other human capital-intensive companies to improve the link between compensation (executive, sales, and employee) and performance. As Managing Partner, he collaborates with clients to improve the linkage between pay and performance, driving increases in stakeholder return.

His high-technology and life science clients have included Texas Instruments, Skyworks, Life Technologies, Hologic, Thermo-Fisher, Actelion, Hewlett-Packard, Broadsoft, 3Com, RFMD (now Quorvo), iRobot, VistaPrint, and Starent Networks. Many of his clients have had some of the most successful exits in industry history.

Jack began his business career in corporate compensation and benefits roles at Data General, Digital Equipment Corporation, Stratus Computer, and Avid Technology and then moved into executive, sales, and employee compensation consulting at iQuantic, Pearl Meyer and Partners. Jack ran his own firm, Connell & Partners, before joining JCCC. He also held the VP of Total Rewards role at GoDaddy and the SVP of Human Resources role at Geac Computer.

Jack has a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in Corporate Strategy and Human Resources, both from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.

Rekha Gurnani Chowdhury

Rekha Gurnani is a leader in the Compensation and People Analytics space specializing in the tech industry. She is currently Head of Compensation & People Analytics at Box, Inc. in Redwood City, CA. Previously, she has held similar roles at Procore Technologies, Atlassian, and Symantec, prior to which she was a Global Compensation Consultant at Radford (Aon). She has also advised a number of start-ups and non-profits on their compensation strategy.

Her focus areas include global broad-based compensation strategy and design, sales compensation, M&A compensation design, and integration, pay equity programs, and People Analytics.

She is currently a candidate in the Executive MBA program at Wharton, and has a Masters in I/O Psychology, and a Bachelors degree in Finance.

Betzi Miriyam Kuriakose

Betzi Miriyam Kuriakose

Betzi Miriyam Kuriakose is a Total Rewards professional experienced in compensation strategy, organization design, HR systems implementation, and project management. She is currently a Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager at Kuwait-based Alshaya Group. She has previously worked at HRInvest, ACICO Group, and ABYAT.

She focuses on compensation planning and design, mapping of the processes, and talent management, including succession planning, performance, and leadership development. Betzi holds substastantial expertise in change management - reorganizing, restructuring, extensive manpower planning, and capability assessments, organizational design, and job architecture.

She holds Bachelor's degrees from the University of Kerala and Mahatma Gandhi University, as well as certificates and scholarships from Carlton Advanced Management Institute, Corporate Finance Institute, and Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Bartek Podolski

Bartek Podolski

Bartek Podolski is the founder and the CEO of GGS IT Consulting. He is also an SPM and Compensation and Benefits Consultant, involved Toastmaster and Cracow Club President at Toastmaster’s International, and Austrian School of Economics passionate. He took part in enterprise-scale implementations of compensation platforms at Morgan Stanley, Daimler, Stryker, among others and has worked with Ernst&Young.

Bartek is skilled at marrying business and IT and has quite a unique understanding of both worlds, which makes him a desirable companion in comp software implementation and development. He spent considerable time living in the US, New Zealand and Europe, which gave him valuable insights and experience. Previously, Bartek worked as a Consultant at Luxoft and ABB.

He holds a degree from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and a Master’s Degree from the Economic University of Cracow.

Magdalena Tur has over 12 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits and Total Rewards solutions in multiple sectors. She is currently the owner of Magdalena Tur Rewards, where she's the Managing Consultant, and a Compensation and Benefits Expert at PKP Energetyka. Previously, Magda held similar positions at Carlsberg Group, Mercer, and Warta.

Magda focuses on advanced HR analysis, total rewards benchmarking, design, and governance of remunerations systems, job evaluations and architecture, performance management, and implementation of IT solutions.

She holds degrees from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Cracow Institute of Technology, and Jagiellonian University.
